Hello everyone! Welcome!
I want to share my go-to everyday makeup look. It’s a simple routine that takes about ten minutes.
First, after I wash and moisturize my face, I put Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer. I use the lightest shade they sell because I’m about as pale as a piece of printer paper. I put the concealer under my eyes in a triangular shape, and over any blemishes I may have.
Next, I set my concealer and powder my face the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder in the 05 shade. When I’m doing a full beat, this powder works great for brightening your under eyes and highlight spots, but when I’m doing a quick before-work makeup look, it’s a great powder to keep my face from getting all shiny and oily throughout the day.
After that, I bronze my face with the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. I use the original bronzer shade. I bronze up my face on hollows of my cheeks and on my temples, and a bit under my jawline. I also apply blush to the apples of my cheeks. I really like the Milani Rose Blushes in shade Romantic Rose (honestly all of the shades are great). I use bronzer and blush in my everyday routine to add color to my complexion. Like I said, I’m very pale, so adding color where I can is essential.
Then, I do my eyebrows. I love the Elf Instant Lift Brow Pencil in the neutral brown shade they have. I have naturally thick eyebrows, so rather than drawing my eyebrows, I just fill them in a bit to add something extra to my face.
Next, I put a neutral eyeshadow color in the creases of my eyelids to add depth to my eyes. Right now I’m loving the Jaclyn Hill Morphe Eyeshadow Palette. It has a lot of great neutral shades in it. I also will add a little sparkle with a light shade in the inner corners of my eyes to make my eyes look more awake.
Finally, I apply mascara. I use a plethora of mascaras. I’m a Maybelline girl, so I typically use one of their mascaras that advertises a volumizing affect.
And that’s it! Sometimes I may spray some Maybelline FaceStudio Master Fix Wear Boosting Setting Spray or Mario Badescu Facial Spray to set the makeup, but I don’t always.
What’s your favorite part of your daily makeup routine? Let me know!
Much Love,
MCC
